1. The Basics

1.1 Key Terms

ScannerFlow refers to itself as "we," "us," or "our." "You" applies to individual users using the App. The "App" is the ScannerFlow mobile application for Android. "Services" means all features and functionality of the App.

1.2 Privacy

Personal data collection is governed by our Privacy Policy at /privacy, which details what data we collect, how we use it, security measures, and your rights.

1.3 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updated Terms will be published with a new effective date. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Our Services

ScannerFlow grants you a non-exclusive, limited right to use the Services for personal or internal business purposes. The App enables you to capture photos of physical documents using your device camera, apply automatic perspective correction and filters, and save the result as a PDF or JPEG file on your device or, with a premium subscription, in cloud storage.

The App also provides: multi-page PDF assembly, on-device OCR (text extraction), an e-signature tool, and document management features (annotate, reorder pages, password protection). These features require a premium subscription.

Free users may save up to 3 documents (lifetime quota). Premium subscribers have no scan limit. The App does not guarantee specific output quality, recognition accuracy (OCR), or availability of any individual feature at any given time.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Creating an Account

You may use the App without an account. An account is required to enable Cloud Sync and to maintain premium access across devices. You may create an account using Google authentication or your email address.

3.2 Reservation of Rights

We may refuse to create accounts for any individual or entity at our sole discretion, subject to applicable law.

3.3 Unauthorized Use

You must notify us immediately at support@scannerflow.com if you become aware of unauthorized access to your account. You are responsible for all activity on your account, including activity performed by others through your credentials.

4. Fees and Payment

4.1 Subscription Plans

ScannerFlow Premium is offered through Google Play on one or more subscription plans (typically including weekly, monthly, and annual options). The plans available to you, the current price for each plan, the billing period, any introductory or promotional offer, and any applicable free trial are displayed in the App and on the Google Play purchase sheet at the time you initiate a subscription. Those displayed terms are the binding terms of your subscription. We may add, change, or remove plans, offers, and prices from time to time.

Free trials, when offered, are typically limited to new subscribers who have not previously activated a free trial for ScannerFlow on their Google account. Google Play makes the final eligibility determination. If you are charged at the end of a trial, it is because you did not cancel through Google Play before the trial ended.

4.2 Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are available in accordance with the terms of the applicable application marketplace. All cancellation and refund requests should be addressed directly to Google Play. To cancel, open Google Play → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → ScannerFlow → Cancel subscription. You may also access cancellation from within the app via Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain premium access until that date.

4.3 Pricing, Currency, and Taxes

Prices are set in US dollars and Google Play converts them to your local currency at checkout. Google Play may add applicable taxes (including VAT, GST, or sales tax) and other charges in accordance with its standard policies, based on your billing location. The total amount you are charged is determined and displayed by Google Play at the time of purchase and at each renewal.

4.4 Third-Party Payment Processor

All billing is processed by Google Play. Your payment details are governed by Google Play's terms and privacy policy.

4.5 Price Changes

We may modify subscription prices. We will provide advance notice of any material price change within the App. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Use Restrictions

You may not:

1. Decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App;
2. Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the Services;
3. Circumvent or attempt to disable any security feature, access control, or quota mechanism;
4. Use the App to scan, reproduce, or distribute documents in violation of applicable copyright or intellectual property law;
5. Use automated tools (robots, scrapers, etc.) to access or interact with the Services;
6. Use another user's account without their express permission;
7. Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary rights notice within the App;
8. Use the Services in any manner that violates applicable law, including export control laws or sanctions regulations.

We cooperate with law enforcement and respond to valid court orders requesting information about users in connection with Terms violations or unlawful activity.

6. Representations

By accepting these Terms, you represent that:

1. You are at least 18 years old (or have obtained parental consent if required by your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
2. Your use of the Services complies with all applicable laws and does not violate any obligations you have to third parties; and
3. Any registration information you provide is accurate and complete.

7. Privacy

When you provide personal data about third parties (e.g., by scanning a document containing another person's information), you represent that you have provided any required notices and have obtained the necessary rights and legal bases for us to process that data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

Our Property: We retain all worldwide intellectual property rights in the App and Services, including their appearance, design, text, graphics, interfaces, source code, name, trademarks, and logos.

Your Property: Documents you scan and content you create remain yours. By using the Services, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and transmit your content solely as necessary to provide the Services to you. You retain full ownership of everything you scan. We do not claim ownership of your documents.

You also grant us permission to use feedback you provide to us freely, without obligation to you.

9. User Content

"User Content" means any documents, images, text, or other materials you scan, upload, or otherwise submit through the Services.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You may not submit User Content that: (i) violates others' legal rights; (ii) infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights; (iii) furthers illegal, fraudulent, or violent activity; (iv) breaches applicable laws; (v) contains offensive material promoting hate, violence, or discrimination; (vi) constitutes harassment or threats; or (vii) contains obscene material.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mobile Flow Ltd, its employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your use or misuse of the Services; (c) your violation of applicable law, including data protection law; or (d) your infringement of any third-party rights.

We will indemnify you against claims that the Services, as delivered by us, infringe valid patents or copyrights, provided the claim does not result from: (a) your non-compliant use of the Services; (b) your combination of the Services with third-party products or services; (c) modifications made to the Services by any party other than us; or (d) your use of an outdated version of the App after a corrective update was made available.

11. Disclaimers

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES: THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. OTHER THAN THE WARRANTIES MADE EXPLICITLY IN THESE TERMS, WE MAKE NO ADDITIONAL WARRANTIES (IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE) ABOUT THE APP OR SERVICES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE OF A SPECIFIC QUALITY, USEFUL FOR YOUR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURATE, ERROR-FREE, RELIABLE, SECURE, COMPLETE, NON-INFRINGING, OR AVAILABLE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION.

WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTY REGARDING THE QUALITY, ACCURACY, OR RESOLUTION OF SCANNED DOCUMENTS OR THE ACCURACY OF ANY OCR TEXT EXTRACTION. OUTPUT QUALITY DEPENDS ON DEVICE CAMERA HARDWARE, LIGHTING CONDITIONS, AND DOCUMENT CONDITION.

We cannot control third-party services (including Google Play, Firebase, or device manufacturers) and accept no responsibility for failures, outages, or performance issues arising from those services.

NOT A DATA STORAGE SERVICE: ScannerFlow is not a document archiving service. Cloud-synced documents are retained for 90 days after subscription cancellation, then permanently deleted. You are solely responsible for maintaining your own copies of important documents outside the App.

Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of certain implied warranties. In those jurisdictions, the above exclusions apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MOBILE FLOW LTD (AND ITS EMPLOYEES AND CONTRACTORS) SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOST PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION — WHETHER OR NOT SUCH DAMAGES WERE FORESEEABLE OR WE WERE ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY.

OUR MAXIMUM AND AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU UNDER THESE TERMS, UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE SIX MONTHS PRECEDING THE DATE ON WHICH THE APPLICABLE CLAIM AROSE.

13. Term and Account Termination

13.1 Term

These Terms take effect when you first use the App and continue until terminated as described below.

13.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your access with three days' prior notice for any reason. Immediate termination may occur if: (i) you materially violate these Terms; (ii) you engage in fraudulent, abusive, illegal, or harmful behavior; or (iii) required fees are not paid or a chargeback is initiated. Terminated users may not re-register without our express permission.

Upon termination or subscription expiration, cloud-synced documents remain accessible for 90 days, then are permanently deleted. We make reasonable efforts to notify you before deletion but have no obligation to preserve cloud documents beyond this period.

13.3 Survival

Sections intended to survive termination by their nature (including §8 Intellectual Property, §10 Indemnification, §11 Disclaimers, §12 Limitation of Liability, and §17 General) remain binding after termination.

14. Application Marketplace

The App is distributed through Google Play and is subject to Google Play's terms of service. Google is not a party to these Terms, is not responsible for the App, and accepts no maintenance, support, warranty, or product liability obligations related to the App. Google and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you.

You represent that you are not located in a U.S.-embargoed country and are not on any U.S. government prohibited-party list.

15. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond their reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of war or terrorism, government actions, labor disputes, pandemics, or infrastructure outages, provided the affected party makes reasonable efforts to resume performance and promptly notifies the other party. Payment obligations are not excused by force majeure.

16. Notices

Official notices may be delivered by email to the address each party has provided. Email notices are deemed received one business day after transmission. We will send notices to you at the email address associated with your account. Notices to us should be sent to support@scannerflow.com.

17. General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Mobile Flow Ltd regarding the Services, superseding all prior agreements. We may assign our rights and obligations to third parties; you may not assign yours. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be replaced with an enforceable provision achieving a similar effect, with the remaining Terms staying in full force.

Israeli courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms. Israeli law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles or the United Nations Convention on the International Sale of Goods.

Nothing in these Terms creates an agency, employment, joint venture, or partnership relationship, or authorizes you to act on our behalf.
